SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
The following are the basic guides of conduct for students under Mizoram Institute of Comprehensive Education, Govt. of Mizoram. All the students must abide by these rules and regulations :

I : Hereafter any mention of the word school if not otherwise specific means Mizoram Institute of Comprehensive Education (MICE)
II. School Hours will be as follows:
a) Pre-Primary Section
b) Primary Section
c) Middle Section
d) Secondary Section
e) Senior Secondary Section
Morning Assembly starts at 9:15 AM every morning.
1. Students must come to school on time. Latecomers will be impose a fine of Rs 20/- on the spot and/or other form of punishment may be given.
2. Students must come to school in complete uniform. School T-shirts and Track pants must be worn on Wednesday and Friday only.
3. Wearing ornaments and use of cosmetics are prohibited. Students doing so are liable to be punished and/or fined a sum of Rs 50/-
4. Students caught chewing tobacco in any form, betel nuts and/or smoking will be imposed a fine of Rs 300/- for the first time and they may be suspended from the school according to their case as per Government order No. F.23012/1/MISC/10- DDEO(A)28 Dated 18/11/2010.
5. Students interfering in drugs, liquor any any intoxicating things are liable to be punished up to expulsion from the school without any warning.
6. Any students caught stealing money or articles of any nature will be expelled.
7. Holding picnics, parties and the like without prior permission from the Principal is strictly prohibited.
8. No student is allowed to leave the school compound or premises during school hours without the permission of their respective Class Teacher or Principal, if they do so, they will be treated as runaway.
9. Parents/Guardian of Elementary students must write all leave application in the school diary. For Secondary and senior secondary sections, their parents/ guardians should inform the Class Teachers on or before the date of their absence either in person or through phone calls. Absence without leave application will imposed a fine of Rs 20/- per day for Secondary and senior secondary sections. For absence of more than three consecutive days their parents/guardians must obtained permission from the Principal.
10. Students whose attendance is less than 75 % are not allowed to appear for any Examination.
11. Any students who fail to perform their Work Experience and General Studies will not be allowed to appear for Promotional Examination.
12. Students practicing any unfair means in the examination hall will have their particular paper cancelled for the first time, if caught for a second time, the student will not be allowed to sit for further examination and all his/her papers will be cancelled.
13. Students absent from the examination without prior permission will be fined a sum of Rs 100/- per paper.
14. Regarding misconduct of a student’s behavior, the student may be suspended or expelled as per decision of the school authorities.
